04:42 pm - HDR and Shaving Cream
This is another test with HDR techniques and effects. I thought shaving cream might be an interesting thing to use as a test for gradients and such.I am still not happy with the colors just yet. HDR seems to throw stuff off a little. But, I am probably doing something wrong. I think the picture turned out interesting at least.

04:48 am - My First HDR Self Portrait
I have been reading a lot about HDR Photography for a while and finally decided to give it a try. What is HDR? It stands for High Dynamic Range Imaging.
As quoted from Wikipedia:
"In computer graphics and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of exposures (the range of values between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows."
i think it has some really awesome potential for the work i have already been doing. By mixing it with some of the techniques I have already been developing. I will be able to create some really fantastic stuff. I am very excited.

06:05 pm - Digital Photography and Artwork Portfolio on Magazine websites
So I have been working on posting my work on more portfolio sites. Here is a list of the 3 most recent:
http://www.dphotographer.co.uk/user/brya
http://www.pshopcreative.co.uk/user/brya
http://www.advancedphotoshop.co.uk/user/b
They are some great websites, not just for the magazines, but for the resources too. I am sure you will recognize my work in the galleries, but eventually I hope to start posting some unique images on different sites, kind of like a scavenger hunt.

05:59 am - still a bit sick, but finally selling my work on some sites
So I finally got my Cafepress thing up and running, trying it out to see how my work looks on some of their products. Check it out and buy some stuff. If you have a favorite image and want to see it on a product let me know. I am building up stuff as we speak. Here is the link:

I am working on setting up a shopping cart on my website for prints and things as well. I am going to try and upload new images on some products on cafe press once every day or something. So if you have any favorite images you would like to see on some merchandise, let me know and I will see what I can do.
Is everyone having a good Holiday season? I was sick for a few weeks with Pneumonia and now I have some stupid virus from my immune system being vunerable when sick. Get some bloodwork done today. Wish me luck..
